2–6 SEPTEMBER 2026 · 5 DAYS, 4 NIGHTS
Gryon, Switzerland: Working from a Historic Alpine Village
No payment needed to apply.
The Chalet
A private chalet on a quiet street in the heart of Gryon, facing a stunning, uninterrupted view of the Alps all the way to the Dents du Midi. Enjoy breakfast outside, spacious common areas to work or relax in, and a garden where dinner comes with a sunset view over the mountains.
The Workspace
Work happens wherever suits you best — the main dining table for group work and shared meals, the table outside on the terrace if you want the mountain view while you work, and a handful of smaller desks and tables tucked around the house for quieter, solo focus.
The Area
Gryon is one of the older villages in the Swiss Alps, first mentioned in records back in 1189. The chalet sits on a private street right in the heart of the village, with an uninterrupted view stretching from the Dents du Midi to the Diablerets massif.
Beyond the village, the area is made for getting outside — Solalex and the Miroir d'Argentine offer some of the best hiking in the region, with trails like La Chaux Ronde leading up to sweeping alpine views. Gryon is also linked to the Villars-Gryon resort, and the village itself is worth wandering — many of its old wooden chalets date back to the 18th century and earlier.

Meet your host
Agostina, founder of Wild Desk
"Argentinian by birth, Swiss by postcode. I love being outside and try to discover new places whenever I get the chance — I paint, cook, swim, and I'm the kind of person who'd strike up a conversation with a rock if given half the chance. At some point I also realised how easy it is to fall into a routine that starts feeling heavy. Going outside helped. Working around strangers helped too — it gave me space to get out of my own head and see things differently. Wild Desk grew out of that."
